Boss GT-1 - 001 - 100

PAY Attention!!
The GT is a unit which MUST BE TWEAKED to suit your amp.
How is it that the patch does not sound right? What can go wrong?

  1. Other guitar, other pick-ups.
  2. Way of connection to the amplifier.
  3. Type of amplifier.
  4. System Setup of the GT. (input and output settings)

I make the patches with my standard GT. I mean that my GT is not set-up especially. I have my GT standaard buttons on the front panel. I do not use additional things like a Boss FS-6 switch. Ok, I also have this one in my setup but does not count in the patches. I can not know what you all use or not use. Therefore, my GT is set by default. I only have disabled the looper in the system settings. Sometimes my looper-knob have also an assignment.

Can I use the patches from my GT-10 into the GT-100?
As far as I know… Is it not possible. GT-10 patches are not compatible with the GT-100; there are too many technical and feature set differences between these two products for the patches of one to work in the other. There are programs that claim that it is possible, but in practice you'll see a lot of other problems, for example with several processes parameters.
